HR Assistant

  City      £32000 - £36000 per annum

A leading global trading company is currently looking for a strong HR Assistant to provide support to the Head of Human Resources, a member of the Executive Committee, as well as to the wider HR team.

You will work closely with the team to ensure efficient and effective running of the HR function. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting the Head of Human Resources, managing the employee administration and on boarding process and assisting the HR Analyst with operational activities such as payroll administration and reporting.


* Diary management and organising of external and internal meetings
* Provide support and manage travel bookings and itineraries
* Attend internal meetings and take minutes
* Occasional expense payment submissions
* Run the employee on-boarding process
* Conduct new joiner on-boarding
* Prepare all employee changes to documentation
* General employee administration
* Payroll administration
* Management of all internal HR trackers
* Liaison with other administrative functions as required
* Finance processing of purchase requisition and team invoice management
* Track and monitor the HR budget
* General administration to the wider team
* Responsibility for the HR group inbox
* Assist with audits and collating documents / information
* Ad hoc management information and HR project work

Are you A-Level educated or equivalent? Do you have an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources; it would be a huge advantage if you have previous HR experience along with working in a professional, fast paced environment.
