Office Assistant

Office Assistant - 3 Month Temporary Contract - Immediate Start

A creative digital agency based in London is undergoing a refurbishment and are looking for a fast paced office assistant on a three month contract. This role allows you to perform a wide variety of tasks meaning no two days are the same. If you are fast paced, have strong initiative and you are pro-active then this is a role for you.

You will be working alongside the PA and other team members to perform duties such as:



* Completing administrative tasks when needed
* Manning the reception
* Grabbing coffees and lunches for your team members
* Moving and altering objects around the office
* Selling old furniture and other objects on eBay
* Coordinating with contractors
* General support around the office
* Other ad-hoc duties

Skills and Experience Desired



* Pro-active worker
* Has strong initiative
* Is fast paced and enjoys getting stuck in
* Good computer skills
* Experience in a client facing role
* Previous experience as an Office Assistant/Office Manager/Team Assistant is not a must but beneficial

Secretarial Team Leader - Global Management Company

A global consultancy based in the heart of the West End with a positive and inclusive culture that values support staff is looking for a Team Leader to manage the team assistants across the business. This role would suit someone who takes great pleasure in mentoring people and acting as a spokesperson for both the business and the Team Assistants; ensuring transparency, candour and a positive communication style. The company are leaders in their field and recognised for consistent delivery and working with well known clients. Therefore this hire is business critical to ensure that Team Assistants are challenged in their daily work and feel represented by their Team Leader and the executives feel well supported given the pressures they face.

This is a really exciting time to be joining such a market leading business that is thriving and looking to expand their enviable brand. They have moved into utterly renovated offices making the atmosphere collaborative, focused and utterly determined. As London is their Head Office they are seeking someone able to demonstrate first class PA support in such a visible role.

Duties will include:



* Being a lynchpin within the support staff and someone who enjoys building positive relationships with everyone
* Chairing team meetings and providing structured two way feedback between the team assistants and other departments
* Sharing best practice from your career line managing elsewhere and being in a senior role, whether as a team assistant, PA or even EA.
* Act as a champion for the Team Assistants and represent them across the business
* Coach all team assistants and mentor where needed, identifying training needs and encouraging additional training when needed
* Conduct catch up's including developing specific training for the team
* Work with Partner's to co-ordinate allocations of team assistants across the business and assess workload and make changes when needed.
* Manage the holiday schedule for the team, ensuring full coverage
* Liaise with recruitment agencies when new hires are required and support the recruitment process including support with inductions
* Ensure reviews happen in a timely and constructive manner

The right personality for this role will someone with exceptional relationship building skills, positive communication skills who wants to be a positive influence for a cohesive team who will look to their Team Leader for guidance. You enjoy supporting the development of people and offering coaching and feedback to a team who are enthusiastic, hard working and professional.
