Team Assistant

Are you currently a Team Assistant working within financial services? Would you like to work for a fun, buzzy and creatively minded Marketing team? Are you described as a logistical guru?

An investment firm is currently seeking a confident, proactive and experience Team Assistant to come in and hit the ground running. You will be supporting two senior individuals and ad hoc wider team which include 7- Associates, Directors and heads.

Working within the Marketing team you will be expected to provide seamless support to the two senior individuals who travel extensively across multiple timezones. Experience providing remote support is a must as the two senior individuals travel extensively across multiple time zones and you will be expected to organise detailed itineraries, visas and accommodations.

As this is working within the Marketing Department there is opportunity to take on marketing duties which include marketing events, seminars. You also bee given the opportunity to attend a conference in Europe.

If you are a team player who is switched on, hard working and loves a challenging role then this would suit you. The ability to think on your feet and having a proactive approach is a must.

* Mentoring a team of secretaries who work together and support their training and development in conjunction with HR; there are high standards within the team who are fully engaged and actively seeking a mentor
* Ensuring that the workload is managed appropriately with an equal division of work and adequate cover within the team
* Handling any issues within the team focusing on a positive resolution for all and taking into consideration different personalities and working styles
* Delivering annual appraisals working in partnership with managers
* Working with HR to recruit and mentor any new team members
* Organising the annual 'away day' to support both the professional and personal development of the team
* Sharing best practices and ideas across the team to ensure that processes are standardised to ensure efficiency and enhanced productivity

This is a unique position for someone who is mature in their approach to work and would relish the challenge of using their strong secretarial skills as well as being a manager and sounding board to a proactive team.
