Housed in a Grade II-listed former magistrate's court, tucked away on an unassuming street a short walk from the Tower of London, Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala’s family-run Indian restaurant has been going strong for 22 years thanks to its warm, friendly service, vibrant setting and - mainly - its imaginative, sophisticated and tasty cuisine.

Expect delicious Indian classics with innovative twists and thoughtful flourishes, with a commitment to the best British produce and fresh ingredients. As well as the strong selection of meat dishes you’d expect, there are plenty of delicious and creative veggie and seafood options, like Grilled Whey Cheese, Portobello Mushroom, Peppers, Courgette, Tomato & Sweet Potato (served with saffron rice and Goan coconut curry) and Grilled Halibut on Soft Sweet Red Chilli Risotto.

If you like a bit of spice but have a fear of vindaloos, then lose that fear here: the Goan Style Pork Vindaloo is mouth-watering but not eye-watering, and one of our favourites dishes on the menu. Or if it’s a case of the spicier the better, try the Fillet of aged Scotch Beef Tikka In Crushed Red Chilli And Black Pepper.

And if you want to pick up some tricks, Café Spice Namaste is also the home of Mr Todiwala’s Academy, where you can learn to up your cookery game from Cyrus himself with one of his cookery masterclasses.
